  13. This "multimedia" stuff was a side effect of the Amiga's performance, but
  14. advancing it as the intent of the Amiga's creators is Commodore-esque
  15. revisionism. The Amiga was, from the very first, designed to be a killer
  16. games machine. R. J. Mical told me as much in an interview a few years
  17. back. (And just for context, he and Dave Needle went on the design the
  18. Lynx handheld, 3DO and the forthcoming M2.)
